Chain Bucket Ship Unloader

The chain bucket ship unloader is a kind of continuous ship unloading machinery for bulk materials which can utilize chain bucket to excavate materials from the ship cabin, then, apply the onboard conveying system to discharge these bulk materials to the wharf.

The chain-type ship unloader is composed of the following parts: Chain reclaiming hoisting mechanism, bucket-type hoisting head rotation mechanism, materials receiving mechanism, cantilever crane rotation mechanism, cantilever crane pitching mechanism, traveling mechanism, belt-type conveyor system, etc. When the ship is unloaded, the chain bucket can excavate the materials from the ship cabinet, then, apply hoisting mechanism to unload these materials to the materials receiving mechanism, transfer them in the belt-type conveyor in the cantilever crane, finally, make use of the central funnel and discharging belt-type conveyor to convey the materials in the belt-type conveyor system on the wharf.

Performance Features:

Comparing with the traditional grab ship unloaders, it has the following advantages:

1. High ship unloading efficiency: The average ship unloading efficiency of ship unloader can account for 55%-60% in the rated production efficiency when the ship unloader has stepped into stripping stage, however, the grab ship unloader only accounts for 45%-50%.

2. It has small pollution to the environment: Considering that the materials conveying paths are sealed, except for the reclaimer head, it is difficult for dust to escape. Meanwhile, there is no frequent starting-braking operation, therefore, the noise is relatively small.

3. Low energy consumption According to the statistics result, its specific energy consumption is 1MJ/t~1.26MJ/t, however, the energy consumption of grab ship unloader can reach up to 1.62MJ/t~1.8MJ/t.

4. Small quality: Comparing with the grab ship unloader (especially, hoisting trolley-type grab ship unloader) which has the same outreach and production efficiency, it has small quality.

5. Stable operation: The main reason lies in the continuous working mode.

6. Its operation is easy to realize automation: Considering that the ship unloader has the similar reclaiming process in every layer of working surface, it is convenient to make operation and easy to realize the semi-automation and automation.

The chain bucket ship unloader can be used for unloading limestone, coal, phosphate, ore sand, raw sugar and other materials, therein, the maximum production efficiency of ship unloading can reach up to 3000t/h, meanwhile, the maximum unloading ship is 100,000t degree sea ship.
