Weihua Crane has manufactured multiple ultra-heavy-duty gantry cranes for the wind power industry, primarily used for hoisting offshore wind power equipment.
1. 3,800-ton Ultra-Large Gantry Crane for Zhejiang Haifeng Wenzhou Home Port
Weihua Crane and Zhejiang Wenzhou Zhehai Wind Mother Port Equipment Development Co., Ltd. successfully held a signing ceremony, establishing a strategic partnership for the world's highest-grade, largest-tonnage 3800t-107m double-girder gantry crane and its配套1500t-105m double-girder gantry crane project.
2. Haili Wind Power 3600-ton Ultra-Large Gantry Crane
Weihua Crane successfully manufactured and delivered the world's first Haili Wind Power 3600t-106.8m ultra-heavy-duty gantry crane. This 3600-ton gantry crane uniquely employs a dual-girder, dual-trolley design, enabling a combined lifting capacity of 3600 tons for both upper and lower trolleys. Its lifting height reaches an astonishing 128 meters, setting a new global record.
3. 3000-Ton Gantry Crane at Jiangsu Hailong Wind Power Base
In March 2025, Weihua Group completed installation of China's first domestically developed 3000-ton gantry crane at the Jiangsu Hailong Wind Power Base. With its main girder raised to 120 meters, the single trolley boasts a lifting capacity of 1600 tons—equivalent to hoisting 2000 cars to the height of a 40-story building. Employing a single-girder double-trolley system with hydraulic synchronous lifting technology, the crane was installed in just 14 days, setting an efficiency record.
4. Lufeng Marine Engineering Base 2000-Ton Rail-Mounted Gantry Crane
Weihua Group delivered a 2000-ton rail-mounted gantry crane to the Lufeng Marine Engineering Base, China's largest offshore wind power hub. With a total lifting height of 90 meters and a span of 62 meters, this dual-trolley design incorporates a 5G data management system enabling real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
5. 1,000-Ton Double-Girder Gantry Crane for National Offshore Wind Power Research and Testing Base
Weihua Group supplied a 1000-ton double-girder gantry crane to the National Offshore Wind Power Research and Testing Base at Jiangyin Port, Fuqing City, Fujian Province. Featuring a U-shaped gantry structure with a maximum lifting capacity of 1000 tons, the crane is equipped with an intelligent safety monitoring system to handle complex operational demands for inspecting high-power wind turbine units and extra-long blades.
