Henan Weihua Vocational Skills Competition Kicks Off

In order to improve employees' professional skills and enhance quality awareness, Henan Weihua recently organized a professional skills competition. This competition has two stages: theory and practical operation. Players who pass the theoretical examination will then enter the practical competition. The competition items are divided into two categories: "Welding" and "Painting". A total of more than 100 players from the Manufacturing Management Center, Spreader Division, Port Machinery Bulk Equipment Division and other departments participated.

More than 500 people from Henan Weihua Manufacturing Management Center, Spreader Division, Port Machinery Bulk Equipment Division, Deputy Minister of Production Department and above, all team leaders, contestants, members of the referee team and staff attended the competition launch ceremony.

Theory selection examination site

The contestants participated in the competition with high enthusiasm and full spirit. In the theoretical examination, the contestants were calm and composed and relied on their solid theoretical knowledge to complete the answers within the specified time.

Welding competition site

The electric welding practical stage is divided into two rounds: in the first round, standard base fillet welding is performed, and the top 20 contestants compete in horizontal and vertical welding competitions.

During the competition, the contestants concentrated on assembling and welding quickly and accurately, with arc lights flashing and welding flowers flying. The contestants showed impressive technical abilities under the standardized examination process.

The judges carefully evaluated and compared the welding joint misalignment, weld width, weld reinforcement, surface cracks, surface pores, arc craters, undercuts, etc.

Painting competition site

The content of the painting competition is the painting of the new Chinese-style small frame. The contestants concentrated on every step of the painting process, including scraping, sanding, color mixing, and spraying. They demonstrated their solid painting skills with a calm attitude.

The judges made a comprehensive evaluation in terms of operational proficiency and flatness of scraping putty, paint sagging and leakage, paint film thickness, and paint film smoothness and fullness.

This skills competition provides a platform for skilled welding and painting players to express themselves and communicate with each other, stimulating labor enthusiasm and innovative vitality.
