From January to September, the city's industrial electricity consumption increased by 14.37% year-on-year, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 14.3% year-on-year, and fixed asset investment increased by 10% year-on-year; the general public budget revenue was 3,217.47 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%, of which tax revenue was 2,763.21 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.9%, and the tax proportion was 85.9%.

Thirty-two municipal leaders in Changyuan City took the lead in contracting and contacting enterprises, and transferred 192 section-level cadres and 204 mid-level cadres from 57 departments. On October 16, Changyuan City was selected into the first batch of 10 Henan Province's new era private economy "Two Health" practice innovation demonstration counties (cities, districts).
