Weihua Group ranks 18th on the list of the top 100 private enterprises in Henan in 2021, moving up two places from last year. It ranks 11th in the 2021 Henan Private Enterprise Manufacturing Top 100 list, moving up one spot from last year.
Since the first release of the list of the top 100 private enterprises in Henan in 2013, Weihua has been shortlisted for nine consecutive years.
In 2021, the entry threshold for the top 100 private enterprises in Henan exceeded the 2 billion yuan mark for the first time, reaching 2.569 billion yuan, an increase of 670 million yuan from the previous year's 1.899 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 35%. This is the largest increase in recent years, and it is also another new breakthrough after the entry threshold exceeded 1 billion yuan in 2014.
The entry threshold for the top 100 private manufacturing enterprises reached 1.377 billion yuan, an increase of 550 million yuan over the previous year and a year-on-year growth of 66.5%. It was also the year with the largest increase in the entry threshold since the establishment of the manufacturing list.
Innovation investment is a highlight of this year’s top 100 private enterprises. The total R&D investment of the top 100 private enterprises was 15.414 billion yuan, an increase of 2.822 billion yuan or 22.41% over the previous year. It exceeded the 15 billion yuan mark for the first time, accounting for 1.31% of total operating income. Among them, six companies including Weihua Group and Zhengzhou Yutong Enterprise Group spent more than 500 million yuan on research and development.
