On October 12, Weihua Co., Ltd. held the 2022 Quality and Safety Award Conference to commend the company's advanced teams and individuals in quality and safety work this year, summarize the results of Weihua Co., Ltd.'s quality month activities, and encourage all employees to continue to discover and solve quality and safety problems, improve product quality, and reduce safety hazards.
Cui Peng, President of Weihua Co., Ltd., Xie Baohua, Executive President, Niu Pengchao, Director of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Center, Sun Peng and Dai Yanyun, Deputy Directors of the Manufacturing Management Center, as well as heads of departments in the production system and all front-line employees attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Shuang, deputy director of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Center.
The meeting introduced the selection of advanced quality teams and individuals as well as the awards for quality innovation projects in the third quarter.
During the quality month activities, the company carried out various activities such as on-site quality inspection, after-sales case analysis, quality training for all employees, measuring tool status inspection, quality inspector ability evaluation, advanced quality team and advanced individual evaluation, and selected two advanced quality teams and 12 advanced quality individuals.

A total of 72 quality issues, 13 quality improvement suggestions and 25 quality improvement projects were submitted in the third quarter, effectively avoiding 39 after-sales services, 15 reworks and 13 lost work. Accordingly, 44 quality innovation winners were selected.

buttonAt the meeting, Pengchao summarized the company's quality management work since 2019, and used sets of quality data to warn everyone that quality improvement has a long way to go and there must be no slacking off. He explained the meaning of the three quality concepts of "quality control, quality improvement and quality assurance" and emphasized that quality is not simply to meet customer needs, but to strive to create customer needs. In terms of safety management, he proposed to focus on strengthening the management of hoisting operations and resolutely implement the hoisting operation registration system to avoid the occurrence of safety accidents. At the same time, we must strengthen safety training and education, adopt different training methods, strengthen safety education for front-line employees, enhance the safety awareness of all employees, and make every effort to do a good job in safe production.
Based on the national level, Cui Peng introduced the importance our country has attached to production quality in all walks of life since the reform and opening up. He said that the country's progress is closely related to everyone, and Weihua's development is also inseparable from the hard work of every employee. As a manufacturing enterprise, we should closely follow national policies and firmly adhere to the bottom line of quality management. At the same time, Cui Peng proposed that under the new market situation, Weihua should focus on the improvement of quality details, requiring everyone to do three things: first, have empathy with customers, look at the quality of our products with the psychology of consumers, and demand the quality of our products; second, establish an overall view of quality, systematically consider product quality improvement, and fully consider the system quality of the entire machine while ensuring that each component of the product is qualified; third, be strict with ourselves and do not leave problems to the next process, especially not to be transferred to the site or in front of customers. I hope that everyone will be down-to-earth in the future, forge ahead on the road of quality improvement and ensuring safe production, and bring the company's quality and safety management work to a new level.
