"All greatness comes from the beginning of courage"

In the 1980s, the spring breeze of reform and opening up swept across like a wave, awakening some people with a keen sense of smell. The party secretary of Hanliao Village in Changyuan found Han Xianbao, a "capable man", and said that there was a piece of land in the village that was idle and asked him to set up a factory.

This is a courtyard located in Hanliao Village, Weizhuang Street, Changyuan City. On June 6, 1988, a sign with the words "Xinxiang Weihua Crane Factory" was hung in front of the gate of this three-acre yard, and Weihua was born.

In 1988, Han Xianbao decided to take advantage of the policy and became the first group of people to "eat crabs" on the Yellow River beach after having been impoverished for several lifetimes.

He spent all his savings and 200,000 yuan collected from relatives and friends, and started Weihua's entrepreneurial journey with 6 workers in a handicraft workshop with less than 3 acres of land in the village, using only a few small equipment.

From simple mechanical maintenance to parts processing and complete electric hoist production. Although it is a small factory, Han Xianbao has standardized management and strict quality requirements. As the scale grew, the original factory site was no longer suitable for factory development, and it was moved to a new factory area. Han Xianbao proposed "two breakthroughs" (breaking family-style management and breaking workshop-style production), and took the lead in introducing modern enterprise management systems and professional managers.

Han Xianbao said: "All greatness comes from the beginning of courage." After more than 30 years of circulation in Weihua, this sentence still remainsIt is written in the most conspicuous position of the entire group.

Weihua closely focuses on the "double carbon" goal, promotes the research and development and production of lightweight and low-energy consumption products, and independently develops and designs a "new Chinese-style crane". Compared with traditional cranes, Weihua's new lightweight crane can reduce its own weight by 25%, its height by 30%, and its overall energy consumption by 20%, which can effectively reduce the height, cost and overall energy consumption of the factory.

Intelligent

Intelligence turns cranes into "material handling robots". Products such as fully automatic anti-sway cranes, fully automatic garbage disposal cranes, and steel coil warehouse intelligent cranes are representatives of Weihua's intelligent products. Weihua independently developed anti-sway precise automatic positioning control technology, which reduces the swing amplitude by more than 95% and has a control accuracy of 2 mm. It is the first in the world and fills the technical gap in this field.

　

At present, the four major domestic satellite launch bases all use Weihua’s crane products equipped with anti-sway systems. Weihua's fully automatic garbage crane products are suitable for use in harsh environments with high dust and strong corrosion, and are especially suitable for use in harsh working conditions such as waste power generation. This product has won the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award and the Henan Province Science and Technology Progress Award. Its technical level is at the leading level in the country, with a market share of more than 45%.

Customization

In response to the diversified needs of customers in different industries and fields, Weihua has developed lifting equipment for special environments such as metallurgy, nuclear power, waste-to-energy cranes, and building materials to meet customer customized requirements and reflect the supply-side structural reform. The company's large-tonnage and customized crane products account for more than 50% of the market share.

　

On August 14, 2022, a total of seven multi-series cranes including Weihua’s 180-ton metallurgical casting crane, 90+90-ton feeding semi-gantry crane, and 100-ton bridge crane were dispatched to Central Asia to serve a steel group project in Kazakhstan.

Weihua uses the big data center to establish an industrial Internet platform to realize product design optimization, remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, predictive maintenance, and remote operation and maintenance service applications of lifting equipment, open up the technology research and development and industrialization chain, and realize the full life cycle management of lifting equipment.

Weihua Group is the first company in the world to implement 5G technology in the crane industry.

At present, Weihua Big Data Center has invested a total of various types of equipment covering 29 provincial administrative regions in China and Southeast Asia. The users involve 121 enterprises and units in 13 industries such as mechanical and electrical machinery and petrochemical industry.

Weihua compiled the first "Crane Index" in the lifting industry, which became a "barometer" reflecting the operating conditions of the industrial manufacturing industry.
