On October 10, the Weihua Low-Carbon Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park project with a total investment of 4 billion yuan officially started construction.
According to Han Hongan, chairman of Weihua Group, the Weihua Low-Carbon Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park project is planned to cover an area of 1,500 acres, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan and a total construction area of 810,000 square meters. After the project is fully completed and reaches capacity, the annual output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan, with more than 3,000 new jobs and total profits and taxes exceeding 2 billion yuan.
Weihua Low-Carbon Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park will be characterized by digitization of the entire process of R&D, manufacturing, management, and service, follow the design concept of "carbon peaking, carbon neutrality", feature green, intelligent, and digital, and focus on the research and development and manufacturing of new Chinese-style low-carbon cranes , three-in-one reducer, new motor, high-end precision accessories and other products to create a green and low-carbon intelligent equipment manufacturing base with the most advanced manufacturing technology and the most complete supporting facilities with cutting-edge R&D innovation, green production and manufacturing, digital management and operation, and global service network.
Weihua Low-Carbon Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park Project is the second phase project of Weihua Intelligent Hoisting Equipment Industrial Park.
In 2019, under the call of our province’s “three major transformations” and Changyuan’s industrial transformation and upgrading development, Weihua Group launched the construction of the 1,260-acre Weihua Intelligent Hoisting Equipment Industrial Park, introduced high-end production and processing equipment in the industry, and established a world-leading smart factory. It has built an automated main beam and end beam welding production line in the industry. The first phase has been fully put into production and has achieved full capacity. It has an annual output of more than 100,000 units (sets) of intelligent lifting logistics equipment and supporting products. Thanks to the increase in production capacity, Weihua Group completed sales revenue of 16.3 billion yuan last year.
"The first-phase industrial park mainly produces various large-scale complete equipment, while the second-phase project is our layout around the development of the entire industry chain and targeting key parts and components." Han Hong'an said that this construction will not only further improve the company's production efficiency, but also an important measure to promote the Changyuan lifting equipment industry cluster to replenish, strengthen and extend the chain, and realize the transformation, upgrading and high-quality development of the local industry.
On the same day, Changyuan City held a centralized start-up event for major projects in the fourth quarter of 2022.
