Recently, at the national offshore wind power research and testing base in Jiangyin Port, Fuqing City, Fujian Province, Henan Weihua’s 1000t double main girder gantry crane successfully completed the heavy-load test and was put into operation.
This project is my country's first national-level offshore wind power research and testing base. After the base is completed, it can carry out the wind turbines with the largest capacity in the world and The longest wind turbine bladeThe testing test strongly supports the research and development of offshore wind power equipment in my country and the theoretical research on offshore wind power grid connection. It fills the gap in the test verification of high-power, full-scale equipment in the field of offshore wind power in my country.
The Weihua crane delivered this time has multiple advantages such assafer, more reliable, and smarter, which will effectively promote the project to move towards the goal of becoming a world-class offshore wind power research platform, test platform, and exchange and cooperation platform.
According to the project's characteristics of large lifting weight, complex working conditions, and high control accuracy, Weihua crane adopts a U-shaped gantry structure, double gantry four-point lifting, a maximum lifting weight of 1000t, and a maximum lifting point height of more than 18m. It adopts frequency conversion + PLC control, which can realize adjustable horizontal and vertical distances, and free rotation of the suspension beam, with a control accuracy of ±1mm.
It is also equipped with a crane safety monitoring and management system, which has functions such as job task management, status monitoring, operating parameter recording, storage, query, and traceability, as well as multimedia prompt functions such as alarms and image displays.It greatly reduces operation risks and improves safe operation factors.

The offshore wind power research and testing base is a major project of the country’s “14th Five-Year Plan” and an important component of the National Key Laboratory of Renewable Energy Grid Connection.
