Recently, after 14 days of hard work day and night, with the main beam accurately raised to an altitude of 120 meters, the first domestic 3,000-ton gantry crane independently developed by Weihua Group was successfully installed at Jiangsu Hailong Wind Power Base.
Technical breakthrough: far-leading "super equipment"
The gantry crane has a total lifting capacity of 3,000 tons, a single trolley lifting capacity of 1,600 tons, a lifting height of 120 meters, and a span of 120 meters, which is equivalent to lifting 2,000 cars to the height of a 40-story residential building at one time. It can meet the hoisting needs of ultra-large offshore wind power equipment and is a veritable "national weapon".
In order to ensure stable performance in coastal operations, this product adopts a single-girder double-car system and a four-reel double-hook synchronous structure. Three-dimensional digital prototypes and finite element analysis are combined to check the stiffness and strength of the entire structure. Quality standards are strictly controlled. It is also equipped with a crane safety management and monitoring system to achieve intelligent management throughout the life cycle and ensure stability and safety under extreme working conditions such as typhoons.
Behind the project: Installation “acceleration” to overcome difficulties
The main beam of the 3,000-ton gantry crane is 134.7 meters long and weighs 2,085 tons. The transportation needs to cross complex road sections. The load data is monitored in real time by a deflection truck. It took 16 hours to complete the "Big Mac" transfer, which accumulated valuable experience for subsequent large-scale transportation.
In order to ensure the safe and efficient improvement of the product, Weihua Marine innovatively designed the largest rope arrangement mechanism in China based on the actual conditions of the project site to ensure the stability and reliability of the product lifting.At the same time, experts and professors in the industry were invited to conduct technical reviews, and the most mature hydraulic synchronous lifting technology in the world was used for installation. The overall lifting took 14 days, reaching the industry-leading level.
After the commissioning of the 3,000-ton gantry crane is completed, it will be used for hoisting components of Hailong Wind Power's large offshore wind turbines, which will greatly improve production efficiency, accelerate the large-scale development of offshore wind power in my country, and help achieve the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".
