Recently, the 2000t×200m shipbuilding gantry crane of Wison (Nantong) Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., which Weihua jointly participated in manufacturing, was successfully upgraded. This shipbuilding gantry crane is a single main beam, large tonnage, and long-span gantry crane. It is the largest tonnage shipbuilding gantry crane equipment in China. The three trolleys of the crane and the entire operating mechanism are manufactured by Weihua.

Double roller and double hook trolley made by Weihua
01 The upper trolley is a double trolley. The lifting mechanism adopts a double drum and double hook synchronous structure and runs on the trolley track on the plane above the main beam. The lifting capacity of a single trolley is 2X500t.
02 The lower trolley adopts a double-hook structure with independent main and auxiliary drums. It is installed on the pull-out platform of the frame structure and runs on the track at the bottom of the main beam. Its lifting capacity is 600/50t.
03 The complete machine trolley has various lifting combinations such as single-hook lifting, double-hook lifting, three-hook lifting, and four-hook lifting. It can be used for construction operations under various working conditions such as hull segment docking and aerial turning over.
04 Based on the ultra-large lifting capacity and 200m span requirements, the trolley operating mechanism of this project is composed of four-level balance beams and is driven by 128 sets of wheel sets. Its operating speed adjustment range is 3-30m/min.
The 2000t×200m shipbuilding gantry crane serves the dock expansion project of Wison Offshore’s Nantong base. The Nantong base is Wison Offshore’s main floating equipment production and construction base. The shipyard expansion is the top priority of the entire Nantong base renovation project and is of strategic significance for Wison Offshore to enhance its own strength and upgrade its service capabilities. After the future transformation is completed, Wison Offshore will be able to provide global customers with more options for EPCIC general contracting services for large and ultra-large floating solutions.
