In order to effectively enhance the sense of mission, urgency and responsibility of all front-line employees in quality and safety work, and strive to create a new situation for the company's high-quality development, Henan Weihua Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. held the 2023 first quarter quality and safety award conference on April 19, 2023. Executive President Xie Baohua, Quality Safety and Environmental Center Director Niu Pengchao, Manufacturing Management Center Deputy Directors Dai Yanyun and Sun Peng, as well as heads of various production system departments and all front-line employees attended the meeting. Through the selection of quality innovation projects in the first quarter, the conference issued rewards and subsidies to quality innovation winners, safety pacesetters, and part-time safety officers. A total of 60 quality issues, 7 quality improvement suggestions, and 38 quality improvement projects were submitted in the first quarter, effectively avoiding 32 after-sales services, 3 reworks, 2 missed work hours, and reducing the company's quality losses 2 times.

At the meeting, Niu Pengchao put forward requirements for quality and safety management. All employees must start with details, strengthen work inspections, and promptly discover and solve problems. In particular, they must strengthen worker safety training and education, use different training methods, and strengthen safety education for front-line employees. Keep in mind that punishment is not the ultimate goal, but a way to improve the safety awareness of all employees, and ensure that everyone is responsible for safe production.

Xie Baohua analyzed the quality and safety rewards in the first quarter, emphasizing that the majority of front-line workers should sound the alarm and realize that improving quality and reducing after-sales problems are the biggest efficiency-increasing and cost-saving measures for the production department, and they must use quality to win more orders and profits for the company under severe circumstances. In response to safety issues, Xie Baohua proposed that part-time safety officers should be promoted to those who are capable and those who are mediocre should be removed, and those with outstanding abilities should be selected to serve the safety production work in the workshop. All front-line workers must abide by operating regulations, insist on investigating hidden dangers, and be responsible for personal life, health and family happiness.
