On the morning of April 13, the assessment meeting of Weihua Group’s postdoctoral research workstation was successfully held, and all three postdoctoral fellows passed the assessment. Yu Youfei, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Weihua Group and Director of Weihua Postdoctoral Research Station, chaired the meeting and delivered a speech.
Yu Youfei introduced the purpose and requirements of the meeting, listened carefully to the report with the expert review team, provided detailed and comprehensive guidance and evaluation on the postdoctoral research direction, research results, feasibility and existing problems of the research content, and provided constructive guidance for the improvement, deepening and implementation of the research report.
Yu Youfei said that while conducting research on the subject, postdoctoral fellows should make full use of industry-leading technology platform resources such as Weihua Big Data Center, fully integrate theoretical research with applied research, and make new breakthroughs in deepening the greenness and intelligence of theory and products. Weihua invests about 4% of its sales revenue in scientific research every year. While building an industry-leading scientific research platform and empowering the industry, it will provide postdocs with an ideal scientific research environment and practical verification conditions to ensure that scientific research projects achieve the expected results.

The review team had a heated discussion on the contents of the reports of the three postdoctoral fellows. After thorough discussion and deliberation by the expert review group, it was deemed that the two postdoctoral fellows Wang Kan and Dong QingThe research topic of Dr. Qi Qisong is of great significance and he agrees to initiate the project; Dr. Qi Qisong’s research project is making good progress and has reached the mid-term assessment target, and he agrees to pass the mid-term assessment.
It is reported that since the establishment of the Weihua Group Postdoctoral Research Workstation in 2010, 16 postdoctoral researchers have been introduced to the station, 9 have left the station, and the current number of people on the station has reached 7. Due to the perfect system construction, standardized management, and completion of tasks on time, the Weihua Group Postdoctoral Research Workstation has been rated as an outstanding postdoctoral workstation in Henan Province five times. Yu Youfei, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Group and Director of the Weihua Postdoctoral Research Workstation, and Miao Hong, Executive Vice President of the Group and Deputy Director of the Workstation, have been successively rated as “Outstanding Postdoctoral Managers in Henan Province”.
