What will happen if the crane is equipped with the "most powerful brain"? In the second quarter of this year, Weihua Group went all out to accelerate the research and development and application of intelligent equipment, and empowered production with technological innovation.

As cranes become intelligent, speed and accuracy are two major challenges.
The reporter was in the Weihua Low-Carbon Intelligent Industrial Park, where staff were debugging and applying the truss robot. This equipment is mainly used in common industrial processing fields such as machining loading and unloading, palletizing, and depalletizing.
With its high-speed and high-precision performance, its efficiency can be increased by 3-5 times compared to manual work; this lifting robot equipped with a 3D industrial camera and AI algorithm model can independently identify materials and accurately pick up and move materials in different moving scenarios and materials, providing strong support for flexible and high-efficiency production. "In our 3D cameras, many large models have been trained in advance. According to the model AI algorithm, we can identify where and what materials are taken, which is of great benefit to flexible production and manufacturing." said Chen Lei, assistant to the general manager of Henan Purui Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.
At present, these lifting robots are being debugged and will be applied to the company's pulley assembly line within a week, allowing the entire production line to achieve fully automated production and help increase production capacity in the second quarter.
"The accuracy of our technology in identifying materials currently reaches within 1 mm in this industrial line, and it is equipped with a movement speed of 60 meters per minute. Among products of the same type, the efficiency is already quite high." Chen Lei told reporters that after the implementation of this production line, it will be more than three times more efficient than traditional production methods.

In addition to solving the two major challenges of "speed" and "precision" on smart hardware, in mid-May this year, Weihua Group's digital management platform was successfully upgraded to version 3.0. Through cutting-edge technologies such as 5G and digital twins, it is equivalent to installing an intelligent "most powerful brain" on the crane.
This can not only help engineers to "send pulse signals" and "cloud medical consultation" for cranes, effectively ensuring the stable operation of equipment in the second quarter, but also predict the life of parts and provide early warning of faults.
“Based on the number of braking starts, load conditions and operating hours, the data will be comprehensively analyzed, and then early warning signals will be issued in advance, reducing the occurrence of equipment failures and safety accidents by 99%. "According to Shan Yingge, director of the R&D Department of Henan Weihua, 95% of faults can now be solved on-site through the remote guidance of engineers.
"Software platform + intelligent hardware + key technology" builds a digital platform for Weihua's lifting terminals. Each intelligent crane is efficiently interconnected and becomes an important force in the enterprise's production.
Han Hongan, chairman of Weihua Group, told reporters: "Weihua currently focuses on digital development and international development. Now that the era of AI has arrived, we are developing the industry's first AI-specific crane model. Once it is released, there will be a major and qualitative improvement in the efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of future work. ”
