Preparation: The yacht is driven into or towed into the designated area covered by the
gantry crane. Technicians determine the hull's balance point and install and adjust the lifting slings.
Lifting: The
gantry crane is moved into position, the hook is lowered and connected to the spreader. The yacht is slowly and smoothly lifted out of the water.
Transfer: The
gantry crane moves the yacht horizontally along tracks to an empty space on shore or over a transport flatbed.
Placement: The yacht is precisely placed onto a specialized yacht support frame or hydraulic flatbed.
Storage/Transportation: The yacht is densely stored in a dry hold or transported by flatbed to the repair shop.
